Established in 1974, Eclipse Stores is a national women’s apparel brand with 68 locations throughout mid- and eastern Canada. They are designers of two exclusive brands and focus on high fashion trends. However, their website was non-transactional, had no fulfillment capabilities, a limited product catalog, and an inadequate cross-country reach.

Solution

In 2012, Eclipse Stores selected the OrderDynamics eCommerce and Order Management Solutions to launch their first ecommerce offering. The new EclipseStores.com now offers customers a full catalog of Eclipse merchandise, in both French and English. The Shop This Outlet feature provides customers with the opportunity to leverage staff expertise and suggestions during their purchase decisions as they would in-store.

Results

Using the OrderDynamics Endpoint Warehouse Integration and other solutions, Eclipse is able to leverage in-store stock from 7% of their stores to fulfill online orders and facilitate in-store pickup, as well as grow their business significantly by extending sales and delivery cross-country. With the Order Dynamics Inventory Management System, customers can also now locate the nearest store with their desired item, providing a seamless customer experience, whether they’re shopping online or offline.
