eCommerce Platform Integration

OrderDynamics supports several different integration scenarios depending on the unique business needs of the merchant. Although a wide range of custom integration options exist, the objective of integration is to minimize manual efforts and utilize all existing business systems where appropriate.

Determining the exact integration needs unique to a given project is part of our structured discovery process. OrderDynamics documents the communication points between each system for all key areas your website from Products, Pricing, Accounts, Customers, Payments, Orders, Inventory, Order Status, Shipping Tracking, Tax Exemption and more. Integration requirements are recorded in a series of diagrams for workflow and architecture.

OrderDynamics provides flexible integration options to ensure the eCommerce platform is tightly integrated with back office systems

Integration Software and File Exchange

Included with every plan is the OrderDynamics Integration Software which provides automated integration with all major shipping systems. This ensures Packing Slips, Shipping Labels, Tracking Numbers, and Customer Notifications, are automated and accurate. Included is a local Integration Database thats provides merchants with direct access to Order and Customer information for ad-hoc access. In addition, OrderDynamics supports custom file exchanges using structured file formats (such as XML) and secure transport mechanisms (HTTPS, FTPS, VPN). OrderDynamics provides custom import / export scripts for data exchange between ERPs, Accounting Systems, Inventory and Warehouse Systems, and CRM environments. File exchanges are scheduled and monitored by the OrderDynamics Service Desk.

Web Services Architecture

For merchants with complex internal IT systems, advanced levels of integration are supported through a web services architecture. This provides merchants with the highest level of control over their websites while maintaining reliability through autonomy. Using web services architecture, merchants can maintain all aspects of their websites and communicate with their internal systems through a standardized interface. This also reduces maintenance costs by eliminating direct access to multiple back office systems. Web services integration also allows for custom business rules, triggers, and frequencies such as promotion updates, delta changes, immediate pricing updates, content updates, attributes updates, inventory levels, and more.
