The Vendor management and Inventory control system is a high performance, high capacity engine which supports complex fulfillment
scenarios and integrated inventory tracking. Inventory levels are automatically updated within OrderDynamics immediately
on order submission and purchase orders (POs) are created to manage inventory purchases from vendors.
OrderDynamics maintains a built-in Inventory Control system which can work autonomously or synchronized with an external
Inventory Control ERP solution. The built-in functionality maintains Purchase Orders (PO) to capture product costing, as
well as reception of new inventory. The Inventory Control system also enables online retailers to dynamically control product
visibility and merchandising based on real-time inventory levels across retail locations. Inventory is allocated in real-time
and items can be hidden automatically, allow ordering, or disallow back-ordering when inventory falls below a user defined
threshold. Managers can be notified via e-mail when inventory levels reach a threshold and use the Inventory Manager interface
to quickly build POs.
Vendor and PO Management
For merchants that need direct Vendors and Purchase Order management within the eCommerce Platform, OrderDynamics delivers
robust tools to maximize efficiencies. Vendors are created and tracked, with user defined fields available to track unique
vendor details. Purchase Orders are created for item level re-ordering with auto-fill reorder quantities and the ability
to quickly add multiple items to a PO. PO Templates are customizable using the Razor Template engine for unique layouts,
branding, and dynamic information. Costs are tracked at the item level and stock is received through active POs. Inventory
reporting and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reports are available as part of the OrderDynamics General Ledger.
