Promotions and Pricing Schemes
OrderDynamics provides ease of use and control for some of the most complex online retail
environments. This includes Coupons, Bundling, Price Breaks, Quantity Discounts,
Free Items, Loyalty Points, Customer Level Pricing, and more. OrderDynamics provides
granular control over product bundles to ensure only real SKUs are bundled and sales
amounts are correctly distributed. Coupons (promotion codes) within OrderDynamics
provide the highest level of control including usage limits (per customer, global),
free product or deductions, selected products or categories, minimum totals, and
advanced scheduling options. Coupons can be redeemed during checkout or automatically
injected into the cart using Shopping Cart Triggers.
For advanced promotions across thousands of SKUs, the OrderDynamics Complex Promotions system
is used. Complex Promotions provide a robust AND/OR matching system that allows merchants
to easily maintain hundreds of advanced promotions. An example of a Complex Promotion
is "Buy W and/or X and/or Y and get Z". All promotions are automatically
merchandised on the website in the areas specified by design.
Shipping and Cart Triggers
In addition to Coupons, Bundles, Sales, and Complex Promotions OrderDynamics includes
Shipping Promotions and Cart Promotions or "Shopping Cart Triggers". Shipping promotions
include the ability to schedule Free Shipping thresholds or Reduce Shipping rates.
Merchants can also easily manage Free Shipping rates at a per-Category and Per-Product
level with control over multiple free shipping shopping scenarios.
Shopping Cart Triggers are promotions that are engaged by evaluating the contents of the shopping
cart. This includes the ability to inject Products, Free Products, Coupons / Promo
Codes, and more. Shopping Cart Triggers are merchandised in the cart.
Scheduling and Reporting
To cut down on the significant amount of manual effort required to manage website
promotions, OrderDynamics includes an advanced Scheduled Tasks system. This allows
online merchants to schedule almost all types of promotions including Coupons, Emails,
Content, Product Publishing, Free Shipping, Shipping Fees, Shipping Rates, Bundles,
