eCommerce CMS for Custom Experiences

An eCommerce implementation is a significant investment that typically spans over 3 to 5+ years. However, Internet commerce is evolving at a phenomenal rate so it is critical that your platform allows you deliver the optimal user experience needed to maximize conversions, which may be very unique to your brand. That is, full control over website design, usability, layout, search, and navigation. This will allow you to quickly adapt and change your website when needed rather than being held back by the underlying platform as so often is the case.

OrderDynamics provides this level of control. In fact, many of our Clients adjust or refresh their website frontends multiple times a year. This separation of design and usability from the underlying eCommerce business logic ensures your eCommerce investment is future-proof and allows you to make website changes at your pace.

OrderDynamics enables highly custom frontend user experiences by separating the frontend design from the eCommerce platform

Design Process

The OrderDynamics platform provides high levels of flexibility and control to its Clients over the website design process and ongoing updates. Website design is handled differently for each Client depending on their preferences and unique requirements. In both scenarios, the OrderDynamics Project Manager is responsible for managing dates and timelines into the overall project plan.

Option 1: OrderDynamics Design Partners

Some of our Clients prefer OrderDynamics fully manage the website design process by using one of our design partners and making the contract seamless. In this scenario, OrderDynamics will arrange meetings with its design partners based on the design budget and recommend a best fit for culture, industry vertical, experience, and website type. Once a design partner is chosen for the project, OrderDynamics will manage the transaction with the design partner through a single contract with our Clients.

Option 2: Internal Team or Client Selected Third Party

Others prefer to have their website designed internally or by a third party firm they select. OrderDynamics is fully compatible with these scenarios and works collaboratively with external groups to ensure they understand the capabilities of our platform and no duplication of costs.

Content Management (CMS)

Maintaining the content on your websites with OrderDynamics is a very easy process and designed for business users (product teams, marketing, and sales). Using the OrderDynamics eBusiness Manager, business users can maintain Product, Pricing, Promotions, Ratings and Reviews, Categories, Brands, Static Content, and more. Each Product, Category, and Brand includes multiple image support and 3 (or more) custom content fields (on top of built-in fields) that can be edited directly through the WYSIWYG editor. Site navigation is easily controlled and dynamically updated on the website through the category and brand system. Products and promotions are easily staged and can be scheduled to go-live after approval using our Scheduled Tasks engine. OrderDynamics provides database driven, non-product page content pages using Generics which is used for pages such as Careers, Store Locations, Articles, Testimonials, Case Studies, Tips, FAQs, and more. The OrderDynamics personalization engine allows for Personalized Content Areas to be defined and deliver targeted content based on areas that serves up personalized content based on a combination of rules such as IP Geolocation, Address, Order History, Referral Site, Search Keyword, URL, time of day, and more.
