Content Management System
Enabling fresh, engaging content.
An eCommerce implementation is a significant investment that typically spans over 5 to 7+ years. However, eCommerce is evolving
at a phenomenal rate so it is critical that your platform allows you constantly deliver the best user experience needed
to maximize conversions over time. This will allow you to quickly adapt and change your website when needed rather than
being held back by the underlying platform as so often is the case.
The OrderDynamics Content Management System (CMS) provides complete frontend design control with the ease of use needed by
high-growth online merchants. In fact, many of our Clients adjust elements of their website design multiple times a year.
This ensures your eCommerce investment is future-proof and allows you to make website changes at your pace.
Rapid Content Maintenance
Maintaining the content on your websites with OrderDynamics is a very easy process and designed for business users (product
teams, marketing, and sales). Using the OrderDynamics eBusiness Manager, users can maintain Product, Pricing, Promotions,
Ratings and Reviews, Categories, Brands, Static Content, and more. Each Product, Category, Manufacturer, and Brand includes
multiple image support and 3 (or more) custom content fields (on top of built-in fields) that can be edited directly through
the WYSIWYG editor. Site navigation is easily controlled and dynamically updated on the website through the category and
brand system. Products and promotions are easily staged and can be scheduled to go-live after approval using our Scheduled
Tasks engine. The OrderDynamics CMS also allows merchants to easily deliver personalized content. Personalized Content Areas
(PCAs) can be defined all over the website to deliver targeted content based on a combination of rules such as IP Geolocation,
Address, Order History, Referral Site, Search Keyword, URL, time of day, and more!
Structured Non-Catalog Pages
The OrderDynamics CMS also comes complete with a powerful database to power "database driven" pages such as Articles, Store
Locations, Testimonials, Careers, and more. Called Generics, this engine allows the merchant to specify 10 user defined
fields to store entries in the database and link these entries to products. New entries can be made using the easy-to-use
content editor on the eBusiness Manager or using a form on the frontend (for example, with Customer Testimonials). Custom
pages are created to display articles on the frontend of the website.
